On 20th May, HAKI Africa strongly condemned the continued targeting, harassment, and unlawful detention of human rights defenders across East Africa. We stand in solidarity with Boniface Mwangi and Agather Atuhaire who have faced unjust treatment while exercising their right to defend justice and accountability.
